Sue Loughlin
Sue Loughlin, based at The NewBridge Project, Gateshead, Loughlin’s practice is rooted in installation, sculpture and painting, and encompasses social engagement, collaboration, and arts production.
In 2019, she was awarded a Sunderland Culture Creative Development Fellowship, and in 2020, Loughlin completed the nine-month Collective Studio development programme for early career artists with The NewBridge Project.
Loughlin holds a BA Hons in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (1996), a PGCE in Art and Design from the University of Reading (1997) and a Master’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Sunderland (2018).
