Seymour Mace

1990 – 2000. various short-term street theatre contracts with The Natural Theatre Company beginning at the Gateshead International Garden Festival, covering UK, Japan, Canada and various European locations before ending with a month long contract at The Millenium Dome in 2000.

1993. Began work as a clown in Japan, learning on the job. The physicality, character and emotional depth of clowns is something that still fascinates me today. They're the closest thing to real life magic and the skills I learnt as a clown I still utilise today.

2000 – Present Day. Professional Stand-Up Comedian with gigs across the UK, also China, The Philippines and

Australia. With 20 years' experience of putting successful shows on at Edinburgh International Arts Festival. Performance for me is all about freedom, the freedom to express myself, to be myself, to shout and jump and run around like the excited child that we all once were.

2000 – Present Day. Appeared in various short film projects. I try to put as much enthusiasm into my acting as a child at play.

Circa 2010 – 2013. Continuity Announcer for CITV. Lots of fun!

2005 – 2011. Appeared as twin brothers Craig and Steve in 6 seasons of BBC3 sitcom ‘Ideal’.

I have just completed a BA in Fine Art at Northumbria University graduating with first class honours on July 13th 2023.
