Layla Khoo is a multimedia 3D artist, specialising in ceramics and site specific installations responding to ideas, events or collections of objects. She is currently researching for the Exchange Residency with and considering the physical and lived history of Exchange Square, Middlesbrough.

She is also working on a new experimental body of more personal work supported by an Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice grant considering her own heritage and how the diaspora can relate to a culture and heritage not experienced first hand.
