Stephen Irving has been a full time artist since 2011, exhibiting work in galleries and pop-up shows across the North East. Irving graduated from Teesside University with an MA (First) in Fine Art (2016). Irving was signed to Global Fine Art (2017) based out of Miami, Florida as ZeroGradient, the name Irving uses for his sound and street art. Since then Irving’s work has been exhibited across America and Australia including most recently a touring exhibition across America alongside artists such as Banksy, Pure Evil and Dalek.

Irving’s work exploits practice and form to create work that is not predetermined by its outcome, but rather through the process in which it is created. Destruction, abstraction and re-imagining drives this process and, as a result, the finished work can be seen more as a by-product of its production than the piece itself.
